About the Artist
Leonard Feenan has been drawing and creating all sorts of wonderful art projects all of his life. Drawing as a child and inspired by his father and brother, Leonard developed a real love for the arts and is self taught. His passion is not limited to any one medium. The world of textiles fell into his lap in 2005 when he was hired to work for Mary Sheppard Burton. Now pattern design is on his list of 'can dos'.
He has developed a positive reputation in the rug hooking culture with the debut of the Noah's Ark, which included 135 patterns for the ark creatures. At 87, Mary Sheppard Burton is still creating, inspiring and living life to the fullest. www.marysburton.com
